Project Overview
Problem
Online shoppers often struggle when trying to replace a missing or broken cable. Most people don’t know the name of the cable they need, and explaining it with words or navigating endless product listings can be frustrating. Some users feel embarrassed asking professionals or end up relying on friends and family instead. The search process becomes time-consuming, confusing, and ultimately discouraging.
Solution
We designed a concept for an image recognition tool that helps users identify the cable they need by taking a photo. The tool then suggests a match with a short description and product listings from online retailers, guiding the user directly to a confident purchase.
